Who we are

Hanamizuki Cafe opened back in 2012 serving elevated rice balls and miso soups, recognized and loved by many within and out the Chelsea neighborhood. In 2020, Hanamizuki Cafe closed due to the pandemic and reopened as Sweets Laboratory.

Now, Hanamizuki Cafe is back better than ever serving rice balls during the day, while desserts from Sweets Laboratory is served at night.

Hanamizuki Cafe is owned by a mother daughter duo, originally from Osaka bringing authentic Japanese flavors in onigiri form to New Yorkers!
